License plate recognition
G-Car‘s AI guarantees a very high, reliable license plate recognition rate with optimal camera nstallation. One license is required per lane.
We recommend the use of our complete camera set G-Cam/ANPR incl. IR lighting. The scene width should be max. 3m, the distance to the license plate 2-4m (with a small viewing angle) and the camera mounting height max. 2m.
The image area in which the license plates are to be recorded is simply
defined in the setup with a mouse click.Gates
Several lanes (recognition licenses) can be assigned to a gate so that vehicles entering or leaving can be distinguished with a camera.

Depending on the license, users can be created in G-Car who can be assigned function roles that only allow the operation of certain control points and areas.

Known vehicle license plates are entered in the integrated vehicle list or imported (Excel lists) and managed.
Each license plate is assigned to a Allowed-list or Denied-list with the associated first/last name, the company name and the desired lane (camera).
If a „Allowed-list license plate“ is detected, the lane barrier is opened via relay control. „Denied-list license plates“ are reported and have no access authorization.
All license plate detections are logged in the integrated entry and exit logbook, including an automatically generated single image.
The AI-controlled G-Car video analysis software for automatic license plate recognition reliably recognizes the vehicle license plates of all European countries (including Eastern Europe)* in video images and controls the lane barriers of your entrance or exit based on predefined access authorizations.

G-Car can be connected to a G-Core system via the Web API for real live image monitoring of your entrances and exits. The license plate recognition triggers a G-Core event for the live image display of the lane camera and the storage of the G-Car metadata and video images in the G-Core database.
